Our History
Mountainview Insurance Services Ltd first opened its doors in September 2000. With a deep focus and commitment to the Abbotsford community they have been serving for 22 years. With the leadership of Trenton Poy, Mountainview Insurance Services Ltd has remained independent and locally owned insurance provider. Committed to providing the best service possible whether on the phone, in the office or on the road.
Located next to Costco in the Abbotsford Power Centre there is easy access, lots of parking available. Convenient hours and open 7 days a week!

Matt Van Staalduinen
Insurance Broker
Matt has been working with Mountain Insurance for 9 years and is proficient in ICBC, Travel Insurance and specializes in off road/ATV insurance. Matt enjoys cars & gaming in his spare time.
Denice Macleod
Insurance Broker
Denice has 20 years of experience in insurance; she looks after home and autoplan insurance needs for her clients. She has worked with Mountain Insurance for 13 years. Denice’s family have called Fraser Valley home for many years. In her free time, Denice likes to get together with her friends and family.
Gagi Deol
Insurance Broker
Gagi has been involved in insurance for the past 21 years; he is fluent in both Punjabi and English. He has worked with Mountainview Insurance for 15 years. Like Trenton, he loves to travel, but when he’s not traveling his interest in cars, sports, and working out keep him busy.
John Lind
Insurance Broker
John has a Bachelor of Arts degree along with his C.A.I.B. (Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker) and C.I.P. (Chartered Insurance Professional) designations. He has over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry and is specialized with the commercial files. John’s wife and twin daughters keep him busy when he’s not watching the Canucks!
Trenton Poy
President
Trenton’s professional designations include his C.A.I.B. as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He owned Mountainview Insurance since 2000, and has been in insurance for 36 years. Trenton loves to handle the more complicated “problem” issues for his clients. His passions include politics and travelling (54 countries so far and counting!) He is deeply involved in the community and a current member of the Abbotsford/Sumas Rotary Club.
Leanne Young
Insurance Broker
Leanne Young has living in the Fraser Valley area all of her life and is amazed of seeing the changes over that time. She has been in the insurance industry for 12 years and is happy to help our clients. In her free time, she volunteers with the City of Abbotsford. She also runs in the Terry Fox marathons and likes to keep in shape. Her cat Tucker is spoiled rotten.
Curtis Olivier

Curtis has worked with Mountainview Insurance for the past 5 years and specializes in the ICBC, Fleets and ATV and boat policies. He has lived in the Fraser Valley area all his life. In his free time, Curtis loves to work on cars and participates in Jit Jitsu completitions.
Yash Sidhu

Yash is an Abbotsford boy and has lived here all his life. While he has started in the industry about 1 year ago, he loves helping people choose the right insurance coverages that suits them and meets their needs.
In his free time, Yash likes to travel, work out and spending time with family and friends.
